Perishable Seafood Shipping & Receiving

Perishable Seafood Shipping & Receiving

All perishable seafood orders are shipped Wednesdays only via Next Day Air with dry ice.

Orders must be placed by Tuesday at 12:00 PM to be considered for that week’s Wednesday shipment. Orders placed after the cutoff may move to the following Wednesday.

Perishable orders cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. A valid physical street address is required.

All perishable shipments require signature confirmation upon delivery. Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the package.

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and being available for delivery.

If no one is available to sign and the carrier holds, redirects, or returns the package, we are not responsible for delays, spoilage, or loss caused by the missed delivery attempt.

We guarantee that perishable orders are shipped using a Next Day Air service. Actual delivery timing may still be affected by carrier delays, weather, address issues, or missed signature delivery.

Perishable Packaging & Handeling

Perishable seafood orders require specialized cold-shipping materials and handling. A $35 perishable packaging and handling fee is included in the shipping rate shown at checkout. This helps cover insulated packaging, thermal protection, cold packs, dry ice, protective wrapping, DOT dry-ice labeling, fragile labeling, tamper-evident food-safe containers, product labels, and the preparation required for overnight shipment.

The remaining portion of the shipping charge is the live UPS Next Day Air Saver rate based on the delivery destination.

Receiving Your Package

Open your package immediately upon delivery and place all perishable items in the refrigerator or freezer as directed.

Because orders are packed with dry ice and ice packs, your food may arrive partially frozen, fully frozen, or with small ice crystals present. This is normal and helps keep your order cold during transit.

If your item arrives frozen, allow it to thaw safely in the refrigerator before serving or reheating as directed.

Report Any Issues Promptly

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your package arrives damaged, leaking, warm, or otherwise compromised, contact us as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after confirmed delivery.

Please include clear photos of the shipping box, shipping label, packaging, and affected product so we can properly review the issue.
